Cow Parsley and purple grass

Sometimes I tramp the byways of my territory becoming increasingly despairing about finding a location to settle at for painting. The other Saturday this was the case when walking along the riverbank of the Avon near Saltford between Bristol and Bath.

The banks were spectacularly lined with abundant Cow Parsley but what eventually caught may attention was a pale purple haze from a patch of grass heads. Heres the result.
