Imagine lying on your back in a woodland clearing. Its a warm afternoon and looking up through the branches the sky is cloudless and deep blue.

Installing an exhibition in a museum gallery full of 18th Century paintings, where walls are inaccessible and everything needs to be free standing is no easy task.
Working with the natural world as a source of inspiration as well as subject matter I have come to appreciate how everything in our world, the universe even, has its role to play in the great scheme.
When is an artwork finished? I pronounced this painting complete back in January. Several weeks later I found that I was dissatisfied with it and decided to put it back on the easel.
