With Art Post you really can exhibit art anywhere.
Installing an exhibition in a museum gallery full of 18th Century paintings, where walls are inaccessible and everything needs to be free standing is no easy task.
Working with the natural world as a source of inspiration as well as subject matter I have come to appreciate how everything in our world, the universe even, has its role to play in the great scheme.
When is an artwork finished? I pronounced this painting complete back in January. Several weeks later I found that I was dissatisfied with it and decided to put it back on the easel.
Occasionally I develop projects that go off at a tangent to my major theme and very often they’re photographic. One such project I called ‘Trees before Buildings’.
I think these two paintings from May can be classed as successful. I’m pleased with them because they come close to reflecting both the locations I had selected and my emotional and intellectual response to them.
