I think these two paintings from May can be classed as successful. I’m pleased with them because they come close to reflecting both the locations I had selected and my emotional and intellectual response to them.
I’m taking part in the annual open studios weekend at the studio complex in Bristol, UK where I rent my studio space. Its a lovely bright space but is tucked in a corner of a larger studio area making the term ‘open’ something of an anachronism.
