With Art Post you really can exhibit art anywhere.
Installing an exhibition in a museum gallery full of 18th Century paintings, where walls are inaccessible and everything needs to be free standing is no easy task.
For the whole of July this year Art Posts have been in use for a variety of art events in different types of location.
Art Post is still a new product but I think repeat orders is a good indicator of future success.
With Art Post becoming more established as a system of choice for artists engaging in the more ad hoc types of exhibiting like art trails, open studios and art fairs I thought I would experiment with one of my prototypes and install one of the old tensioned wire systems recycled from about 12 years ago.
Art Posts have been used to mount art exhibitions in churches, cellars and crypts as well as, more conventionally, galleries. This is an account of setting up 6 Art Posts in a café.
This week I’ve at last had the opportunity to make an explanatory video of setting up Art Posts.
